PRINCETON — Willie H. (Willis) Graham, 79, of Pisgah Road, Princeton, departed this life suddenly but peacefully on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born June 1, 1928 at McComas, he was the son of the late Charles Graham and Elizabeth Midkiff Graham.
Mr. Graham retired from Itmann after working many of his years as a hardworking coal miner and was a member of the U.M.W.A. He was a member of Johnston Chapel Baptist Church in Princeton. He lived a purposeful life until the end. For many years he was the primary, loving caregiver for his wife, Betty.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Betty J. McKinney Graham; one son, William (Pickle) Graham; four brothers, Harold (Boots) Graham, Trigg Graham, Cletus Graham and Howard Graham; and four sisters, Ocie Stevens, Arlie Clark, Norma Jean Graham and Helen Smith.
Survivors include one son, Gregory Scott Graham and his wife Margie of Princeton; two daughters, Pamela Graham of Princeton and Sonya Graham Jennings and her husband Richard of Alpine, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Tami Neely and her husband Chuck of Beavercreek, Ore., Cynthia Bujak of Tucson, Ariz.; Eddie Adams and his wife Pam of Lashmeet and Christopher Graham; great-grandson, Ian Bujak of Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, Milton (Buck) Graham and Charles (C.W.) Graham and his wife Betty of Mullins; one sister, Elva Burkett of Lake Shawnee; and one sister-in-law, Fran Grace and her husband Ed of Reston, Va. Also left to cherish his memory include special friends, Kathy and Jerry Stevens of Princeton and Randall (Randy) and Janice Bailey of Princeton. His beloved dog-companion, Annabelle is left behind to grieve her loss.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2007 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. John King, Pastor Delmar Stilwell and Rev. Jim Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Green Valley. Men of the church will serve as pallbearers.
