— Larry R. Jennings, age 64, of Montcalm, W.Va., passed away
unexpectedly on Friday, July 11, 2008.Born on February 28, 1944 in
Crumpler, W.Va., he was a son of the late Woodrow and Delma Reed
Jennings. Larry was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the
Vietnam War. He was a former coal miner, having worked with Consol
for 19 years. He later worked with New River Castings in Radford,
Va. He last worked for MJ Electric in Princeton, W.Va. He was a
member of the Bailey Lodge No. 137 of Montcalm, W.Va. and the Beni
Kedem Shriners. Larry had a kind, gentle and humble spirit, yet was
a man of incredible strength.Survivors: Wife of 45 years, Judy Zeoli
Jennings of the home; son, Anthony Richard Jennings and wife Wendy
of Apex, N.C.; daughter, Teresa Carol Jennings of Cary, N.C.;
grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, and Macy Jennings; brother, Jackie
Jennings of Montcalm, W.Va.; sisters, Mildred Harden of Princeton,
W.Va., Joyce Gentry and husband Lonnie of Crumpler, W.Va., Linda
Mullins and husband Lonnie, Sr. of Crumpler, W.Va., Sharon Sizemore
and husband George of Crumpler, W.Va., Carolyn Bailey and husband
Kenneth of Crumpler, W.Va.Funeral services will be held on Monday,
July 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in
Bluewell with the Rev. David Ratcliff officiating. Burial will
follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, where the Bailey
Masonic Lodge #137 will conduct Masonic Graveside Rites. The West
Virginia Honor Guard will then perform military honors. Larry's
nephews will be serving as his pallbearers.Friends may call on
Sunday (today) from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.The Cravens-Shires
